Mission Statement

The mission of the Office of Human Resources is to attract, retain, and support a high-quality workforce that creates a positive impact on student performance. These HR services include:

Our HR team collaborates with school principals, supervisors and staff to implement a district-wide talent management strategy, including interview practices, succession planning, performance consulting, leadership development, innovative learning strategies, career and organizational development. We select and retain only the best talent for the students of Shaker Heights.
