PowerSchool Help

Parents of students in grades K-12 can access report cards, view absences and check grades online using PowerSchool. If you have not set up a PowerSchool account or need a refresher on using it, refer to the guide below.

Q: How do I create and/or access my Parent Portal account?
A: Click here for instructions on creating and accessing your Parent Portal account.

Q: How do I add a new student, such as an incoming kindergartner to my Parent Portal account?
A: You will not need to create a new account. Instead, click here for instructions on adding a student to your existing Parent Portal account.

Q: The site says my account is "locked", what do I do?
A: Email [email protected] for assistance.

Q: I forgot my username or password! How do I retrieve it? 
A: Click the 'Forgot Username or Password?' link on the PowerSchool Sign In page.

Q: How do I navigate the Parent Portal?

Q: Should I download the PowerSchool app?
A: We do not recommend the PowerSchool app. Information found on the web version of the PowerSchool Portal is not available on the mobile app, so it is always preferable to log in via a browser on your laptop or smartphone.

Note: If you are using the PowerSchool app and are having trouble accessing information or logging in, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the PowerSchool app from your App Store. If prompted for the District code, enter NFNJ.
