The Middle School Science Olympiad team has qualified for the State Science Olympiad, and several High School students have won top-five placements in their events.

Update on Delivery of Measuring What Matters
We've learned that many residents have not received their copy of "Measuring What Matters," a special report on many dimensions of school quality. We are working with the Postal Service to track down the undelivered copies. It is available online.
Read the report.
Parent Volunteer Opportunity
PARENTS, WE NEED YOUR HELP!
We are looking for volunteers to enhance our student's learninng experiences at Shaker Heights Middle School. Would you be willing to share some of your knowledge with our students?
Update on New Version of ProgressBook
ProgressBook is the online gradebook used by the Shaker schools. The newest version has many enhancements, but the procedure for setting up parent and student accounts has changed. Your old logins and passwords will no longer work.
Information about the new version of ProgressBook was mailed to parents on September 7,
along with individual keycodes and instructions for setting up parent and student accounts. Although ProgressBook is not widely used in grades K-4, it will be increasingly used as a secure area for posting information. Therefore, families are encouraged to set up an account for all their students.
