MAP/AIR Assessments Scheduled for Spring 2018
MAP/AIR assessments will take place from April 17 through May 21. These assessments are used to measure student progress and growth in the areas of reading and math. The data provided by these measuremenst helps our teachers identify students’ strengths and areas where additional support is needed, and also helps guide instructional decisions to ensure that all students make adequate growth over time. Here is the SCHEDULE for our upcoming MAP/AIR Testing. Here are some tips you can do at home to help your child do his or her best on the MAP/AIR tests:
For general questions
about the assessment or its administration, please contact your child’s
teacher. Thank you for providing the extra support your child needs to be
- Make sure your child gets
plenty of sleep the night before the assessment.
- Provide a good breakfast the
day of the assessment.
- Express your confidence in your
child’s ability to do his/her best.
- Avoid upsetting situations or
changes in routine, if possible.
