Professional Learning

Teacher working with students

Professional learning, like student learning, is part of an ongoing cycle of understanding expectations, learning new content, assessing mastery, and working to hone your skills. By committing to continuous improvement, we can all become better practitioners and model lifelong learning for our students.

Every child deserves an expert teacher. Our professional learning program is designed to make that a reality.

LPDC (License Renewal)

The Local Professional Development Committee (LPDC) was created by state mandate for the purpose of reviewing the coursework and other professional development activities proposed and completed by educators within the district to determine if the requirements for renewal of licenses have been met.  The Ohio Department of Education issues licenses based on LPDC review and approval.
