UPDATE, 11:34 a.m.: Shaker Heights Police Department and District security staff have swept Shaker Heights High School. Students are currently in sixth period, and we have resumed normal operations. There will be no academic conferences, and athletics will proceed as scheduled. Thank you to our students, staff and families for your patience and cooperation.

UPDATE, 9:09 a.m.: Shaker Heights High School is still being searched, and students and staff will remain outside at the stadium until we are given the all-clear by the Shaker Heights Police Department. We expect classes to resume once the search is completed.

September 29. 2021—Shaker Heights High School has received a report of a possible threat. Students and staff are being held outside the building as the Shaker Heights Police Department conducts a search. At this time, they have not found any evidence of a credible threat. Students and staff will remain outside until the police conclude their search and give the all-clear.
