October 28, 2020—The Shaker Heights Schools app has been updated to include a daily health assessment tool for staff and students. All users will be required to create an account.
In order to access the new tool, you must download the latest version of the Shaker Heights Schools app at the App Store or Google Play, even if you already have the app on your mobile device. Families who do not have a smartphone can access the app online.
Follow these instructions to create an account and to register your student to your account. To register, you must have your student’s ID number, which can be found in your student’s ProgressBook or Abre account.
Once you have created an account and registered your student, you can complete the COVID-19 Screening daily when your student returns to onsite learning.
In addition, please note the following clarification has been added to the Student Health and Safety Guidelines: Students should remain at home if they answer “yes” to ANY listed Category A or B symptom.
