Health & Safety
All students returning to onsite learning must wear masks. Families should also build a student wellness check into their morning routines. Wellness checks should be done prior to your student’s arrival at school each morning. Please review the District’s Student Health & Safety Guidelines for more information.
Families should plan for their student to bring any school supplies provided to them upon returning to onsite learning. This includes Chromebook, charging cord, headset and computer mouse, as well as library books, art and classroom learning supplies provided to students.
The Shaker Heights City School District’s walk-zone mapping boundaries have been updated to reflect a one-mile walk zone around school buildings for all K-4 students. The District also provides transportation for all students with physical or cognitive disabilities that make walking impossible or unsafe.
For families who receive transportation, information regarding receiving your student’s bus stop location and times will be provided soon.
