IMPORTANT TEST DAY INFORMATION FOR ALL THIRD AND FOURTH GRADE STUDENTS
  • These important assessments consist of an English Language Arts and Mathematics component. Each test is divided into two parts with each section being ninety minutes in duration. The exams will be administered online using student Chromebooks.

  • Students must wear a mask.

  • All students must be in person at Mercer for testing.

  • Onsite students will test in their classroom with their grade level teacher.

  • Remote learners must come to Mercer on specified test days. They will test separately from their classmates in the art room.

  • Remote learners who have requested bus transportation on testing days will ride their assigned morning bus to Mercer with in-person students. Information regarding pickup time and location can be found by using the Here Comes to Bus App or by contacting the Transportation Department at 216-295-4390.

  • Students who are remote learners that are being parent/guardian transported on testing days should arrive no later than 8:30 a.m. and be dropped off at Door B in the parking lot. They will be directed by a staff member to the art room.

  • Breakfast will be provided for students.

  • Testing will take place from 9:00-10:30 a.m. unless a student has an IEP accommodation that allows for extended time.

  • At the conclusion of testing, remote learners will be picked up either by a parent/guardian or take the bus home. Parents/guardians will be contacted by phone or text to pick up their student at Door B. Bus riders will depart for home at either 10:35 or 11:15 a.m.

  • Remote learners should join their regular class at 11:00 a.m. or upon their return home.

  • All students should get a good night’s sleep the night before testing and bring their fully charged Chromebooks with them for the assessment.
