April 3 Board of Education Meeting Details & Public Comment Information

The Wednesday, April 3, 2024, Board of Education meeting will take place onsite at 6 p.m. in the Small Auditorium at Shaker Heights High School. Members of the public are permitted to attend the meeting in person. Additionally, the meeting will be livestreamed to the public beginning at 6 p.m.
 
Stakeholders will have the option of offering public comment in-person at the Board meeting or submitting comment online to be added to the meeting minutes. Because of the need to cover many items of business, the Board asks all who wish to give in-person comment to register in advance so that we can continue to run efficient meetings that respect everyone’s time. In-person comments will be taken in the order received on the Google Form. Please note per Board Policy, the period allotted for public comment is limited to 30 minutes and may be extended at the discretion of the Board President. 
 
Online comments will not be read aloud at the meeting but will be submitted into the meeting minutes.
 
If you wish to speak in person or submit comments online, please complete this registration/comment form prior to 12 p.m. (noon) on Wednesday, April 3. The meeting agenda and presentation documents will be posted here prior to the meeting date.

Public Comment Regarding Proposed 2023-2024, 2024-2025 Calendar Revisions
Please click here to submit any public comments pertaining to proposed school calendar revisions for the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 school year. Public comments will be considered by the District prior to adoption of the proposed calendar revisions at the Board Work Session on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, in compliance with the 30-day waiting period following the public hearing. Comments will be accepted on the proposed calendar revisions until noon on Tuesday, April 16.
