We’ll be sending you regular updates during this extended closure to share any new information and to remind you about previous messages we don’t want you to have missed. Some updates will be shorter and some will be longer, but we’ll be staying in touch.

Even though our schools and offices are closed, our faculty and staff are still committed to working hard each day on behalf of every student and family.

What’s New

  • Shaker Heights Schools students and parents/guardians are invited to complete the Distance Learning and Supports Survey to share feedback on your experiences with learning and teaching, communications and family engagement during the extended school closure. Please note: Families with multiple students in the District may wish to complete one survey per student.

  • College Board has canceled the SAT exam scheduled for Saturday, June 6, 2020. Students will have opportunities to take the SAT to make up for this spring’s lost administrations. Visit SAT and PSAT-Related Coronavirus Updates for more information.

  • ACT has announced it will offer a flexible schedule for summer 2020 test dates and test-at-home options for fall/winter 2020. Read this ACT press release for more information.
