Senior Clap Out is just a week away on Wednesday, May 29! We have been busy registering your seniors and preparing the festivities for the day. The Senior Celebrations Committee and Shaker Elementary Schools hope you will come and support your Senior as they parade through the elementary schools, including Woodbury. Below you will find the agenda for the day as well as some tips to help us make the celebration a success.
Senior Clap Out Agenda
| 11:30 a.m. - Seniors will gather to collect special Senior Clap Out Gowns at the High School Stadium. In the case of inclement weather, Seniors will gather in the Egress. *Onaway Seniors - Please arrive closer to 11:45 AM. You will not leave the HS to walk to Onaway until 12:20.

| 11:50 a.m. - Group Field Picture: all participating Seniors gather on the field in cap and gown for group picture.

. | 12 p.m. - Group Scoreboard Picture: all participating Seniors gather on the bleachers in front of the scoreboard in cap and gown for group picture. |
| 12:10 p.m. - Seniors board busses to their respective elementary schools. Seniors going to Onaway and Woodbury will walk. Seniors personally selected their preferred elementary school when they registered.

| 12:10 - 1:55 p.m. - Elementary schools clap out Seniors. Please join us as our Seniors visit with former teachers and inspire our youngest students.

| 1:55 p.m. - Estimated bus departure to High School. Please note, students do not have to take the bus back to the High School; however, they must return the Senior Clap Out cap and gown they received at the stadium to one of the event liaisons.

Tips to help us make the celebration a success:
Parking will be tight, please car pool or walk to the elementary schools.
Please try to keep our younger students faces out of pictures. Many families have opted out of their students being seen on Shaker Schools’ social media.
The District Communications Team will produce a Senior Clap Out video following the event. Pics uploaded here by 5PM on Wednesday, May 29 could be used in the video. We will continue to resend this link as the event gets closer.
Seniors are given a copy of their kindergarten or first grade pictures to display while marching through the schools. If you or your child would prefer an alternate photo be used, please email your preferred photo with your Senior’s name to [email protected] or text it with your Senior’s name to 312-320-0400.
Registered Senior Clap Out Seniors who began attending Shaker schools anytime after kindergarten received text last week asking them to forward an elementary picture for the celebration. We will also have extra “Raider” pics available for anyone we might have missed.
