Payment for meals is accepted either via check or credit card. To pay via check, please make all check payments out to Shaker Food Service. To pay via credit card, please refer to the information below on using PaySchools Central.

Online Payment for Meals & Fees

The Shaker Heights City School District has enhanced its online payment service through a partnership with PaySchools Central. Using your credit card, you may pay for school meals, student fees, and seasonal items such as prom tickets, Advanced Placement test fees, and Woodbury 6th Grade Camp, Clap Out T-shirts, and Yearbooks.

PaySchools Central offers parents a user-friendly experience and a one-stop shop for school meal payments, fees and free and reduced meal applications.


With PaySchools Central, you can:

  • Set up auto-replenish to automatically refill lunch accounts when they’re running low.

  • Set up reminders and alerts.

  • Review your children’s purchases.

  • Handle payments 24/7, at your convenience, on any device.

Rest assured that PaySchools is PCI-compliant and maintains industry-standard SSL certificates, ensuring all your family’s data is safe and secure.

How to Get Started 

PaySchools Central is secure and easy to use. To set up an account, you will need your e-mail address that's on file with the District, a credit card, and your student’s ID number. There is no transaction fee.
