Woodbury Attendance Emails

September 4, 2019—As of last spring, Ohio Public School Districts must be in compliance with House Bill 66. The legislation requires districts to notify parents/guardians within 120 minutes after the beginning of each school day if a student has an unexcused absence.

The Woodbury office staff personally calls each family whose student is recorded as having an unexcused absence. We will continue to follow our current practice. However, please note: Beginning today, families whom our office staff did not reach via telephone received an automated email notification regarding the absence.

If you receive a morning attendance email, you may respond to the email directly or call the attendance office at 216-295-4150.

Please note: You may check on your student’s daily attendance at any time by logging into your ProgressBook account and clicking on the “Attendance” menu. All excused and unexcused absences are recorded there. If you’ve not yet created a ProgressBook account, please contact the main office.

We thank you for your support and partnership in helping us keep all of our students safe.
