The Red Raider Boys Soccer team opened their season in rousing fashion with a 2-1 victory over the visiting Berea-Midpark Titans in an independent soccer match-up.   Drew Stadler opened the season scoring with a 1st half goal that gave the Red Raiders a 1-0 halftime lead.

The Titans knotted the score 1-1 early in the 2nd half, but Carter Belk took an outlet pass from Ben Stefanski on a chase-down-from-behind steal and beat the Titan goalkeeper to give the Red Raiders the victory.

Shaker will be back in action Tuesday night at St. Edward to take on the Eagles at 6pm & 8pm.
