The Shaker Ladies cross country squad fell just short of continuing their streak of three straight championships at the Avon Lake Early Bird Invitational, finishing a strong second to St. Vincent-St. Mary. Four Raiders finished in the top ten, with Hailey Stupay taking second, Avery Blaszak taking third, Juliet Tonkin finishing 8th, and Mia Compton-Engle coming in tenth. Anna Carpenter rounded out the scoring with a strong 17th place finish. Runners of the Meet are Carpenter and Esti Goldstein, who won the open race.
