District Releases Onaway Principal Search Update

The District is revising the timeline to hire a new Onaway principal to ensure that adequate input from the Onaway community is included in the selection of finalists.

The community survey was completed on May 20 and that feedback is being used to construct a leadership profile. Our next step is to include that public feedback to better inform the hiring process to include the hiring panel(s) and our candidates' preparation for the community forums.

Consequently, the community forums that were scheduled this week will be re-scheduled for June so that the recommended candidates may review the leadership profile and better understand the community expectations for Onaway Elementary School.
