It is that time of year when parents and guardians begin to ask about class placements for the 2016-2017 school year at Boulevard Elementary. In order to maintain an optimal learning environment and minimize disruption to the school day, we will not have parent visitations to observe classrooms for the upcoming academic year. As a District we will refrain from taking requests for specific teachers as outlined here. Please know that you are welcome to discuss placement by scheduling a time to meet from June 6 through June 17, 2016 by contacting the office beginning Friday, June 3 for a 15-20 minute appointment at 216-295-4020.
You may download the Class Placement Form here. This is your opportunity to describe your child’s learning style and other factors to take into consideration for placement. This form is provided for your convenience and is by no means mandatory. We strive to have classrooms that reflect the diversity we have at Boulevard and within the city of Shaker Heights. Please know that your input is valued and appreciated. You may return the form no later than Friday, May 27, 2016. This will give me time to review your comments prior to meeting.
