Annual Night of Percussion - March 25, 2014

with Luke Rinderknecht and Friends

Special thanks to SHHS 2001 graduate, Luke Rinderknecht, for organizing the second annual special percussion concert to benefit the Shaker Schools Foundation's Charlotte Braverman Music Enrichment Fund.  This year's performance, on March 25th, featured Mr. Rinderknecht, Hans Clebsch (Shaker parent and member of The Cleveland Orchestra's horn section), Andrew Sords (SHHS 2003 graduate and touring concert violinist), and James Jaffe (interim principal cellist, CityMusic Cleveland), along with several current Shaker students.

More than 100 people enjoyed an eclectic and wonderful concert including assorted sized flower pots as percussion instruments and a computer narrated piece.  Thanks again to the talented performers and to everyone who supported this event.

Additional warm thanks to Tom Abelson, who took all the photographs shown below.
