Bradley Stokes New MS Student Support Coordinator; Ryan Beaumont to Leave District

July 7, 2021—The District is pleased to announce that Bradley L. Stokes has been named Student Support Coordinator at Shaker Heights Middle School. He succeeds Rebekah L. Sharpe, who has been appointed Assistant Principal at Shaker Heights High School. 


Mr. Stokes is currently the Assistant Principal/Dean of Student & Family Engagement at Lorain High School’s Success Academy, where he has driven improvements to school culture and climate while ensuring rigorous instructional practices. In addition to his experience as an educator, Mr. Stokes has worked as a mental health specialist, a court deputy, a security officer and a social worker.


Additionally, Assistant Middle School Principal Ryan Beaumont has been named Assistant Principal at Harmon Middle School in the Aurora (Ohio) City Schools. Mr. Beaumont came to Shaker Heights Schools in June 2017. Before that, he spent 10 years as an educator in the Anne Arundel County (Maryland) Public Schools.
