SHHS Esports Overwatch Team Faces Oak Hills in State Finals Match
May 28, 2021—The Shaker Heights High School varsity Overwatch team will be competing in the state finals for the third season in a row! On Tuesday, June 1 at 4:p.m., the Shaker Raiders will be taking on Oak Hills for the state championship title. 

The Varsity Overwatch team line-up this year includes John 'Baker' Pidcock, Blaise Johnson, Ethan Byrnes, AJ Delong, Luke Gross, and Charlie Ockner. 

The varsity Smash Bros. Ultimate team of Noah Snipes-Rea, Gabriel Conn, Nick Robinson, Rudy Collins, Nate Collins, and Adam Hicks finished their near perfect season as State Quarterfinalists. 

Additionally, the varsity League of Legends team finished an undefeated regular season to clinch the Buckeye conference championship! The team consists of  Adam Hicks, Blaise Johnson, Jonathan Senturia, Owen Lockwood, and John ‘Baker’ Pidcock.  

The Esports team is coached by Keith Szalay and Aaron Jaggers.
