January 26, 2022 - On Tuesday, January 25, the Shaker Heights Board of Education convened for a special work session to hear an update on student wellness in the District. They were joined by Liz Massey, supervisor of student wellness and success, Sarah Felson, social worker, Mallory Bendezu, school psychologist, Eric Juli, Shaker Heights High School principal and Shannise Jackson-Ndiaye, registrar/hearing officer, to discuss a variety of topics related to student wellness, including social-emotional learning, current building supports, social-emotional data collection, related school programming, disciplinary action and future plans for the department. These guest speakers also spent time answering questions from Board of Education members.
