Case Details

  • The individual received a positive test result and notified the District.

  • The individual is a staff member at the Middle School and has not been onsite recently.

  • The individual will isolate until they meet the criteria to end the isolation period (10 days from the onset of symptoms, as well as an improvement in symptoms and 24 hours fever-free without the use of medication).

How Dashboard Cases are Reported

The Dashboard is updated as families and staff members report cases to the Shaker Heights City School District. Families should contact their building principal if a student tests positive or is presumed positive. Staff members should contact the Human Resources Department to report a positive or presumed positive case.

Reminder: Fill Out the Daily Health Assessment

All staff should continue to complete the District’s daily health assessment/COVID-19 screening each day if they are reporting onsite.

Health and Safety

It continues to be important for all staff, students and families to adhere to the key public health prevention strategies to reduce the chance for transmission of COVID-19.

Please also be sure to review the District’s staff and student health and safety protocols (updated 11/17/20).
