February 24, 2021—Micki Krantz, Director of Secondary Education since July 2019, has been named Assistant Superintendent of the Revere Local School District in Summit County. The Revere Board of Education approved Ms. Krantz’ appointment last night.
As Director of Secondary Education, Ms. Krantz oversees and provides support to Grades 5-12. The District will be posting an opening for her position within the coming weeks.
“We want to thank Micki and wish her the very best in this exciting new opportunity,” said Superintendent Dr. David Glasner. “In her time in Shaker Heights, Ms. Krantzhas had a significant impact on our secondary schools and on our entire District.”
Ms. Krantz’ contributions to the Shaker Heights Schools include her work in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion,curriculum and instruction and positive behavior and intervention supports.
“In the short time she has been in Shaker, Micki has been a valued member of our Learning & Teaching Team,” said Chief Academic Officer Dr. Marla Robinson. “Many, many students have benefited from her passion and expertise. We wish her well, and we will build on her work.”
