Boys in Grades 9-12 who like to play golf are encouraged to join the SHHS Golf Team. Tryouts will be held at Shawnee Hills Golf Course in Bedford on Monday, August 3 and Tuesda,y August 4 beginning at 10 a.m. each day.
The tryout will consist of two 18-hole rounds, which will help determine the Varsity and JV team rosters. The High School golf season runs from August through early October. In order to try out, players must have an updated Ohio Sports Participation Physical and be registered in FinalForms through the SHHS Athletic Department
webpage.
Most importantly, all Golf Team Candidates must contact Varsity Coach Paul Sampliner (
[email protected]) no later than Friday, July 31 to register. Due to limited tee times, there will be no "walk-up" tryouts of unregistered players.
