PaySchools Central & School Fees
All school fees are loaded onto student accounts and can be paid through PaySchools Central. This includes the $35 supply fee for Grades K-6 as well as the $25 activities fee for Grades 7-12. (The K-6 supply fee covers all student supplies, with the exception of gym shoes, an art shirt or smock, backpack and lunchbox. Students in Grades 7-12 are required to provide their own school supplies, and supply lists will be provided by your student’s teachers.) Fees will be loaded to PaySchool Central for payment after the first day of school.

If you are new to the District, you must create an account by visiting payschoolscentral.com.

You may also select the optional One2One Chromebook coverage for just $25 through your PaySchool Central account. You can learn more about this valuable protection plan by visiting shaker.org/TechSupport.aspx.

If you have not already signed up for Here Comes the Bus, please visit shaker.org/transportation and follow the instructions to get set up. Signing up is easy and takes just a few minutes! Here Comes the Bus will be available after 8/15.

This form must be completed in order to see your student's schedule/class placement prior to the first day of school.

Shaker Heights Schools Calendar
The District maintains an online calendar of all District and building-level events. You can find the calendar at shaker.org/calendar. Calendar items are posted using each school building's two letter code. Calendars can be sorted using the filtering options. Please check the online calendar frequently as events are updated regularly. In addition, the buildings regularly share upcoming important dates in the weekly newsletters. Please note, due to limited vendor support, the District is no longer using the Shaker Heights Schools app.

Coffee on the Lawn
Parents of students in grades K-6 are invited to join their school’s PTO for Coffee on the Lawn. Fernway and Boulevard will hold a special Coffee on the Lawn on Wednesday, August 24 from 9-10 a.m. for Kindergarten and new families who begin school that day. On Thursday, August 25, Boulevard, Fernway, Lomond, Mercer and Onaway Elementary Schools will host Coffee on the Lawn from 9-10 a.m. Woodbury Elementary School is hosting their event on Friday, August 26 from 9-10 a.m. The PTO will provide the coffee!
