The District will host a session titled “2023 State of the Schools: A Virtual Discussion” on Thursday, March 23 at 6 p.m.
Superintendent Dr. David Glasner and Dr. Nicole Sherman Patterson, the District’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Learning Specialist, will co-host an hour-long discussion that will focus on the District’s accomplishments and challenges in meeting the four goals of the District’s Strategic Plan:
- Strengthening Student Learning
- Advance Educational Equity
- Strengthen Support for Student Learning
- Implement High-Quality Professional Learning
Topics to be discussed within these goals include detracking, long-term facilities planning, professional learning for faculty and staff, and social and emotional supports.
Participants will be able to ask questions for Dr. Glasner and Dr. Patterson during this real-time event. Those who cannot watch will be able to view a video recording of the event at a later date.
