Please be reminded that Shaker Heights Middle School will be hosting their Rising 7th Grade Orientation program tomorrow, Wednesday March 15 at 7:00 p.m. The middle school is located at 20600 Shaker Blvd, just east of Warrensville Center Rd.
This event is for parents & guardians, and current 6th grade students.
If your child plans on playing a fall sport (Cheerleading, Cross Country, Field Hockey, Football, Soccer (Boys & Girls), Tennis (Girls) & Volleyball), please be sure to sign-up tonight for updates, etc. Coaches will be present at tonight's orientation.
The transition from elementary to middle school is a major milestone and huge accomplishment for both students and families.
This transition can come with many fears, questions and uncertainties.
During the program students and their families will be able to learn a little more about what school is like at our middle school including the wonderful course offerings, ways to get involved, and keys to making the middle school years that much more enjoyable.
