Bio: Wilhelmina “Mina” Neal is a proud graduate of both The Ohio State University and Cleveland State University. Mina currently holds a Master of Science in Psychology and a Master of Education in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Mina has over 20 years experience in the field of mental health, social work, family support, education, and rehabilitation. Mina enjoys working with people from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and belief systems. Mina takes a CBT approach with children, adults, and their families to help them navigate their
thoughts and feelings. Mina strives to assist clients and their families with the necessary tools and skills at their disposal in doing that it is easier to identify triggers, notice warning signs, and find ways to better prepare for oncoming stressors and challenges. Mina is skilled in evidence-based models to process trauma, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Mina’s
empathy and warmth help to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can process and heal.
