PSAT/NMSQT for Grades 10 & 11 on October 13

All 10th and 11th graders will take the PSAT on Wednesday, October 13. This week students will receive an email with an electronic Student Guide, published by the College Board. It is also linked here.  Hard copies are available in the main office.

This guide includes:

  • Information regarding the PSAT/NMSQT

  • Test taking tips & advice

  • An official practice test

Additionally, 10th and 11th Language & Literature teachers have assigned optional SAT practice via NoRedInk.  Please reach out to your child’s teacher for more information regarding this.

There will be no make-up date for this test, as this is the national date for the PSAT/NMSQT.  Please contact your school counselor if you need an alternative way to enter the National Merit Scholarship process.

For current 11th graders who took the PSAT last January, you can view your scores via your College Board account.  You can access your account here:  Access your College Board account.  If you do not have an account, please follow the instructions to create an account.  Be sure to use the student’s legal name when creating a new account. If you already have a College Board account, such as for AP, do not create a new account.

If you have questions about whether or not your child should take the test, please contact your school counselor or case manager.  Families choosing NOT to have their child participate, should complete this form as soon as possible.

More details about test day, including the schedule and room assignment, will be shared closer to October 13.
