December 14, 2021–The Shaker Heights City School District is moving all students on Team Explorer to a fully remote learning environment through the end of this week due to a rise in COVID cases and related staffing shortages. Students will return to in-person learning after Winter Break.
We urge our school community to continue to monitor for COVID-19 symptoms daily: fever or chills, new uncontrolled cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, new onset of severe headache, especially with fever. If you or your student demonstrates one or more of these symptoms, please remain home.
