Happy New Year SHHS! Shaker Heights High School will continue to use the Remote Learning Schedule for the weeks of January 4 and January 11, with the following modifications: 

• Some specific Special Education classes will begin in-person classes on January 11. Students in those classes will be contacted directly to let them know what days they are to return to school.
• To accommodate EOC testing and online MAP assessments, High School students will follow this schedule for the week of January 11:

Monday, January 11 - Follow the Monday Remote Learning Schedule 

Tuesday, January 12 - Follow the Tuesday Remote Learning Schedule 

Wednesday, January 13 - Testing & Remote Independent Work

• In-person Government EOC Testing for 12th graders taking Government
• Remote MAP testing for all 9th & 10th grade students (Reading and Math)
• End of Semester make-up work, independent work and project completion for all non-testing students

Thursday, January 14 - Follow the Wednesday Remote Learning Schedule 

• This is the last day of the first semester

Friday, January 15 - Professional Day, No Classes for Students

• 9th Grade & New Student Optional Onsite Building Tours: These 45-minute tours are optional. Ninth graders and new students choosing to remain remote will have opportunities for onsite building tours later in the second semester. 

Monday, January 18 - No Classes, Martin Luther King, Jr. Day 

Tuesday, January 19 - Follow the Tuesday Hybrid Learning Schedule

• The third quarter, second semester and hybrid learning schedules begin. All students will follow the Shaker Heights High School Hybrid Class Schedule, whether you are returning to in-person school or staying fully remote.
