Dear Kindergarten-Grade 4 Parents/Guardians,

We are very much looking forward to the next layer of school and for our continued learning during these unique times.  With the advent of concurrent instruction beginning on Thursday,  November 5 for Kindergarten (phase-in schedule by grade listed below), we wanted to make you aware of some details regarding schedules to allow for scheduling with students both onsite and online.

Here is the phase-in schedule:

• November 5 - Kindergarten students attend and remain in 

• November 6 - Third-grade students attend and remain in 

• November 9 - First-grade students attend and remain in

• November 10 - Second-grade students and fourth-grade students attend and remain 

Transportation for ONSITE students:

Families have been notified how to create an account to access an app called “Here Comes the Bus.”  All of the bus stop information will be located within the app. If families do not have access to a smart phone to download the app, they will be able access the website on a computer in order to create an account. Please contact Transportation with any questions.

Start of the School Day:

The school day for ONSITE students will start at 8:15 a.m. each day.

• Beginning Thursday, November 5 and continuing through Friday, November 13, as a grade level returns to onsite instruction, online learners from that grade level will join their classes at 9 a.m.  This additional time will allow teachers to work with onsite students on safety expectations and procedures for ONSITE learning.

• Beginning the week of November 16, online learners will join their class at 8:30 a.m.

Lunch/Asynchronous Single Subject:

During lunch time (60 minutes) at school, students will eat lunch and have an asynchronous single subject period. At the same time, ONLINE students will have the opportunity to eat lunch and complete the asynchronous single subject independently in their remote setting.

Times for K-4 Lunch and Asynchronous Single Subject:

Kindergarten:  10:30-11:30 

Grade 1:  11:00-12:00

Grade 2:  11:30-12:30

Grade 3:  12:00-1:00

Grade 4:  12:30-1:30 

Recess/Outdoor Time:

Your child’s individual classroom teacher will communicate the specific recess time for the class. This will be a scheduled time for ONSITE students, and an independent recess/outdoor period for ONLINE students. 

Other Information:

Should we return to FULL remote, we will revert to the remote schedule that we used prior to return to onsite.
