Virtual Fitness Club

Virtual Fitness Club begins the week of  1/4/2021

Virtual Fitness Club will be offered after-school twice a week. Our goal is to introduce the students to a variety of different types of Physical Fitness activities. We are passionate about teaching the students how to perform exercises correctly and with proper form. Furthermore, we have a passion to empower students to design, create, structure, and execute their own fitness routine/plan. The purpose , or the "why" behind creating this Club is to provide the students with the knowledge necessary to improve their personal physical fitness, which will lead to a healthier life now and into adulthood.  

The club will begin on Tuesday, January 12th through Google Meet. The Google Classroom code is: clsru4l

Advisors:  Mr. Cross and Mrs. Lowe
When:       Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:00 - 4:45pm

Students have the option of attending one session or both. Below are some of the types of activities we plan to explore:

  1. Strength Circuit Training

  2. Aerobic Circuit Training

  3. The Pyramid

  4. HIIT – High Intensity Interval Training

  5. AMRAP – As Many Reps As Possible

  6. Tabata

  7. Supersets

  8. EMOM – Every Minute On the Minute

  9. Yoga

  10. Mini CrossFit Workout
