The District invites you to watch Equity Unscripted, a series of one-on-one, equity-focused conversations, hosted by Executive Director of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Dr. JeffriAnne Wilder.
Each episode is approximately 20 minutes, during which time viewers/listeners can gain a better understanding of equity work and its importance at Shaker Heights Schools, in the community, across the country and around the world.
In Episode One, Dr. Wilder chats with District Superintendent Dr. David Glasner. They discuss educational equity, learnings and reflections from the past 12 months, this school year’s theme of Shaker Rising, why diversity, equity and inclusion roles are so crucial in public school districts and what keeps Dr. Glasner up at night.
Episodes of the first season of Equity Unscripted will be released weekly on Mondays and will be available on social media, the District’s YouTube Channel and on shaker.org.
