April 12, 2021—Shaker Heights Middle School Principal Miata Hunter Hunter has announced that she will not continue as principal of Shaker Heights Middle School, effective at the end of this school year.
“It has been a pleasure serving as the principal for the past three years and engaging with our students, the Middle School staff and the school community,” she told Middle School families and staff. “The Shaker Heights Schools are special to me and at this time, I plan to pursue other opportunities within the District.”
A search for Ms. Hunter’s successor will begin in the coming weeks.
