Online Learning Enrollment & Onsite Plan Info

September 23, 2020—During the Tuesday, September 22 Board of Education Work Session, District administrators presented the District’s plans to transition students to full onsite or hybrid learning beginning in late October. Families whose students do not plan to return to school for onsite learning may enroll their students in an online-only option. Please note: The online-only option enrollment form is now closed. For information about online or onsite instruction, please contact your student's principal.

Timeline to Return to Full Onsite/Hybrid Learning

At this time, the District expects: 

  • PreK will transition to a hybrid schedule at the end of October.

  • Grades K-4 will transition to full onsite learning at the end of October.

  • Grades 5-8 will transition to a hybrid schedule at the end of October.

  • Grades 9-12 are currently planning to transition certain courses and programs onsite beginning in early November, with all students on a hybrid schedule by January 4, 2021.

Enroll Your Student in the Online-Only Option

To assist us with planning, families who wish to enroll their students in the online-only option for school must complete the Online Option Enrollment Form before 12 p.m. on Tuesday, September 29. Families whose students will attend school onsite do not need to complete this form. Please note: The online-only option enrollment form is now closed. For information about online or onsite instruction, please contact your student's principal.

Families with multiple children should complete one form for each child in your household who will enroll in the Online Option.

Grades K-4

  • A separate, fully online schedule and/or students will access classrooms via webcams located in onsite classrooms 

  • May include change in teacher assignment. 

  • Families who enroll in the Online Option will commit to online learning until January 19, 2021, at a minimum.

Grades 5-12

  • Students will access classrooms via webcams located in onsite classrooms.

  • Families who enroll in the Online Option will commit to online learning until January 19, 2021, at a minimum.


Student Health and Safety Guidelines

The District has created these Student Health and Safety Guidelines, which outlines health and safety protocols for students and families when students are receiving instruction onsite, in school buildings.
