July 18, 2022 - On Tuesday, July 19, the Shaker Heights Police Department in cooperation with the Shaker Heights City School District, will conduct a realistic active shooter training exercise at Boulevard Elementary School. The exercise will take place between 10 a.m. and 10 p.m. Please note, this is a location change from the previous announcement last week.
Please be aware that the session will include scenario training as well as the use of blanks and flashbang training aids. Neighbors of the school building and other community members in the area will see, and likely hear, an active police presence at the Boulevard building that day.
