Grade 8 Recognition Day Reminders
Rehearsal for the Recognition Ceremony will take place on Tuesday morning, June 7th, during the first period. Students are encouraged to arrive at school on time both Tuesday June 7th and Wednesday June 8th, the actual ceremony day.
Doors will open at 8:30 a.m. on the day of the Recognition Ceremony. The program will begin promptly at 8:45 a.m. and last approximately one hour. After walking the stage, students must return to their classroom to receive their official certificate and wait until the ceremony concludes before being dismissed to leave with family. Parents/Guardians must complete the recognition day early dismissal permission form in advance. Students who are not leaving with their family will be expected to follow their regular class schedule for the remainder of the school day.
Our PTO will be providing light refreshments during a reception immediately following the ceremony.
Parking is limited. Please consider carpooling. Parking at neighboring businesses, including the Bertram Woods Library, is prohibited.
