Isaiah Wyatt Named Interim High School Principal

We are excited to announce that Isaiah Wyatt will be appointed as Interim Principal of the High School. Mr. Wyatt will succeed Eric Juli, who is resigning, and he will transition to the High School main campus as of Monday, December 2.

Mr. Wyatt has served as an Assistant Principal at the High School supervising the Innovative Center (IC) for Personalized Learning since the 2023-2024 school year. Before coming to the Shaker Heights Schools, Mr. Wyatt was Assistant Principal of Canton McKinley High School.

Mr. Wyatt is a dynamic educational leader who has expertise in comprehensive high school leadership and who has a strong track record of developing relationships with students, staff and families.

I also want to thank Mr. Juli and wish him the very best in future endeavors. Mr. Juli has served as Principal of the High School since the 2019-2020 school year. He helped navigate the High School through the COVID pandemic and has overseen the growth of diverse course pathways for all students. We are very grateful for Mr. Juli’s leadership of and tireless dedication to Shaker Heights High School.

Mr. Wyatt’s position at the IC will be filled on an interim basis by Anne Scott, who is currently a science teacher at the IC. We thank Ms. Scott for agreeing to fill this important role.

In the coming months, the District will identify a permanent High School principal, and Mr. Wyatt will be considered for this position.

Please join us in thanking Mr. Juli for his service and congratulating Mr. Wyatt and Ms. Scott on their appointments.

Sincerely,
Dr. David Glasner, Superintendent
Shaker Heights Schools
