Join our fourth grade students for PYP Exhibition on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at 6:30pm-7:45pm at Boulevard Elementary School
The Primary Years Programme (PYP) exhibition represents a significant event in the life of a PYP school and student, synthesizing the essential elements of the PYP and sharing them with the whole school community. As a culminating experience it is an opportunity for students to exhibit the attributes of the International Baccalaureate learner profile that have been developing throughout their engagement with the PYP. In the Shaker Schools, PYP Exhibition takes place during a student's fourth grade year.
The purpose of PYP Exhibition is for our fourth grade students to:
Engage in in-depth collaborative inquiry
Demonstrate independence and responsibility
Explore multiple perspectives
Apply their learning and reflect upon their PYP journey
Provide an authentic process for assessing student understanding
Demonstrate how students can take action as a result of their learning
Unite students, teacher, and the school community in a collaborative experience
Celebrate the transition of learners from PYP to MYP
