Use this discovery portal for kids and curriculum tool for teachers--one stop for library materials, websites, and more. Username and password available from your library staff.

• SchoolRooms Basic is now available to all Ohio schools. Contact your library staff for username and password.
• SchoolRooms Full Test is now available to original pilot sites. Contact your library staff for username and password.

INFOhio's Research Project Calculator can assist students in writing an essay or report, creating a PowerPoint® presentation or producing a video. Provide a starting and due date for the project and the Calculator will help organize the assignment step by step.

Overdrive
Try e-books and audiobooks from Overdrive's K-12 collection, available to Shaker for use at home. Check the site for instructions.

Armed with an MP3 player and some downloaded software, you can search the collection and download up to 10 items at a time. They can be used on your home computer, MP3 players and PDAs. Check with your library staff for your 14-digit school library barcode number and a password.

		Check the Information/Database page linked on the left to access a test practice database from Learning Express Library. It includes everything from 4th grade math to SAT and ACT prep to post-college testing. Contact your library staff for more information.
		Homework Now is an online "chat" funded by the State Library of Ohio.Type in your question and get information from a librarian. If you need tutoring help, there are tutors available from 2 p.m. to midnight.
