The early reports on Shaker Heights High School seniors’ college acceptances are in, and the news is impressive. To date, Shaker students have been accepted to all eight Ivy League institutions: three at Brown University, three at Columbia University, two at Cornell University, two at Dartmouth College, three at Harvard University, one at Princeton University, one at University of Pennsylvania, and two at Yale University.
In addition to several Ohio public and private institutions, students have also been accepted to highly selective liberal arts colleges such as Amherst, Hamilton, Smith and Williams, and renowned universities such as Case Western Reserve, Duke, Georgetown, Johns Hopkins, Northwestern, Notre Dame, Tufts, and Vanderbilt, among many others.
