March 11, 2018—Congratulations to junior wrestler Najee Lockett, who is the State Runner-Up (170-lb.), District Champion and All-Ohio Wrestler, following a fantastic 41-1 season. Najee advanced to the state finals in Columbus on Saturday, March 9, where he faced one of the top wrestling recruits in the nation, Olentangy Liberty's Carson Kharchla.
"Great job, Najee! We are so proud of your success this year on the mat and as a Shaker Heights High School student athlete," said Interim Superintendent Stephen M. Wilkins. "We look forward to watching you next year!"
Najee was welcomed into school Monday morning by his fellow Shaker Heights High School students. Well done, Najee!
