December 20, 2018—Nearly 50 Innovative Center students, parents, family members, staff, teachers and District administrators joined the IC’s second annual winter family appreciation dinner tonight at the Stephanie Tubbs Jones Community Building. "This event provides students with an opportunity to come together and celebrate," says Dawn Sizemore, Coordinator of the Innovative Center for Personalized Learning. "We're doing great things here at the IC and we want to celebrate that and make more people aware that we're here."
The Innovative Center for Personalized Learning offers a variety of non-traditional learning experiences for students, staff, and community members. The IC seeks to meet the varied needs of our students as well as provide educational experiences that support the growth, development, and success of our staff and our community.
The evening included a visit (and gifts!) from Santa, a raffle, dinner and awards to recognize student achievement and progress. Job well done by everyone at the IC!
