May 16, 2019—This afternoon, a student reported to administrators that another student had brought an Airsoft pellet gun to school. School officials confiscated the pellet gun without incident. School operations remained normal.
Our school is committed to the safety and security of all our students and staff. Essential to this commitment is open communication with parents and the community about safety issues when they arise. We always encourage our students that if they see something, to say something. We thank our students for coming forward today, and we encourage students, staff and families to continue to report any safety concerns.
