February 24, 2018—Today the Shaker Heights School Board of Education posted the position of Shaker Heights Schools Interim Superintendent. We will accept applications until March 9, 2018. Interviews will be conducted soon after with an announcement naming the interim superintendent expected by mid April.
The interim superintendent will serve for a term of up to one year while the Board of Education conducts a comprehensive search for a permanent superintendent. The Board is committed to finding a candidate who will guide the District according to our Strategic Plan and our goals of excellence, equity and exploration during this transition. The interim superintendent will not be eligible to apply for the permanent position.
