Greg
Zannelli has been named Dean of Students at Shaker Heights High School. He
began August 15.
As Dean of Students, Mr. Zannelli will be responsible for tier-one discipline such as dress code, cell phone and tardiness violations. He will supervise the school’s attendance officer and in-school support monitor, and will help student athletes maintain their academic eligibility.
Mr. Zannelli comes to Shaker from the Ashtabula Area City School District, where he served as athletic administrator since 2013. He taught American History and Advanced Placement Human Geography in the district for 12 years. He also coached varsity cross country and track.
A U.S. Navy veteran, Mr. Zannelli holds a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in education administration from Youngstown State University.
