March 17, 2017 — Congratulations to the Shaker staff and students who participated in Thursday’s annual Hoops for Hunger charity basketball game at the High School. The staff was victorious 35-24, in large part due to Brad Bullard's 3-point shooting, Josh Eckford's rebounding and Kendra Agee-Barney's dribbling skills.
Other staff who participated included: Bill Scanlon, Adam Thomas, Lauren Keener, Jason Walker, Ray Ratcliffe, Khadijah Young, David Peake, Terrell Allen and Jim Casale. Thanks to Lindsay Florence, Suzie Brown and Kevin Foster for volunteering as referees.
In addition to providing a fun afternoon, the event raise nearly $400 for the Harvest for Hunger Food Drive.
