Senior Brian Amusat Named Stop the Hate Essay Contest Finalist
April 10, 2017 — Congratulations to senior Brian Amusat, whose essay for the Stop the Hate Youth Speak Out contest, presented by the Maltz Museum of Jewish Heritage, earned him a spot among the contest's top 10 finalists. His essay was selected from more than 3,200 essays submitted by 6th-12th graders across a 12-county region. Brian will have the opportunity to read his essay before a panel of judges, his peers and family, and members of the media at an awards ceremony on Wednesday, April 26 on the campus of Case Western Reserve University. The winner of the contest will receive a scholarship, valued up to $40,000. Well done, Brian!
